Title: Sustainable Use of Wastewater and Rainwater for Circular Economy
Abstract: Given the most current scientific and technological advancements in the water industry, Pakistani governments and universities have all considered more effective water management approaches. The circular economy (CE) is one idea that shows promise for sustainable water management. The transition from a linear to a circular economy depends on water reuse. Current roadmaps for the circular economy omit water reuse.Biological wastewater treatment methods can promote green energy and environmental sustainability by recovering valuable resources from wastewater, producing fish and food items, and reducing the environmental impact of wastewater discharge. By using collected rainwater to irrigate farms, produce fish and poultry, and other uses, rainwater harvesting may improve water supplies in both rural and urban areas and increase food safety. Reusing water can help communities, especially the poor and those without access to drinking water, by enhancing hygiene and lowering illness rates.
